Rahman and Mani Ratnam just show that they are one of the best teams in the world. Bharathiraja just gave an memorable presence as a politician the main antagonist in this movie. Trisha Krishnan of course is really gorgeous and would be one of the best actresses of India. I never knew Esha Deol is in this movie and her Tamil is pretty good. Meera Jasmine did a good job in portraying Inbasker's estrangled wife.
This is definitely a modern cult classic that will be remembered for many generations. This just something different from the masala blockbusters and what you call a true action movie. Ayutha Ezhuthu would be counted as Mani Ratnam's best movies. This is going to be one of his best works of all time. He just really masters EDM and you would really love the acoustics.
Definitely going to watch this a bunch of times.
